During the last five years, ICAHRIS has made commendable efforts in advancing Women's and Maternal Infant Health within our communities. Cultural diversity has unveiled an unmatched prospect to better address and prevent diseases such as anaemia, obesity and type 2 diabetes. Our current knowledge of the relevance of maternal and gut microbiota in immunity and the biosynthesis of vital human metabolites continues to transform our ability to better address immediate, early disease prevention.
