Objectives of the IME
- Strengthen the capacity of Mexicans abroad to integrate with the society in which they live and link them to Mexico, specifically to the development of their home communities.
- Transform the voice of migrants into a constructive voice, one that forms agreements for and supports local and regional projects.
- Expand the networks of Mexicans in order to share initiatives and promote common goals.
- Expand dialogue between Mexicans abroad and representatives of their communities.
- Facilitate interaction between networks of Mexicans abroad and the communities in which they reside.
