Dr Khadija El Abdaimi, PhD
Executive Summary
Dr Khadija El Abdaimi, PhD, is a scientist with extensive experience in research and development, both in academic as well as within the Life Sciences and related industry sectors. She received her PhD at Val de Marne University in Paris, France, in 1995. In 1996, she moved to Montreal, Canada, where she completed post-doctoral training at the Calcium Research Laboratory at McGill University.
Relevant scientific contributions of Dr El Abdaimi include, amongst others, the elucidation of potential mechanisms involved in osteolytic metastases associated to breast cancer. In addition, Dr El Abdaimi was one of the original proponents of the therapeutic potential of Vitamin D in reducing the metastatic bone lesions of breast cancer. In 2000, she joined The Canadian Breast Cancer Laboratories as a Research Scientist. Recently, she received a certificate of accomplishment in clinical trials design and interpretation at Johns Hopkins University (USA). Dr El Abdaimi is currently a clinical trials professional at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
