Richard A. Patten

Executive Summary

Richard A. Patten has a vast experience in the voluntary and private Sectors achieving a strong reputation as a prolific, well sounded contributor and inclusive national and international leader. Richard Patten is a former Provincial Government Minister and Member, who served in four distinct Legislative Assemblies of Ontario.

Richard has promoted and participated in innovative technologies for decades, particularly within the Health Sciences and related Sectors. His commitment to Community Health has been remarkable, particularly while serving as President and CEO of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation.

Most recently, he has fostered green technologies such as plasma arc technology to transform waste mass into a variety of useful products and synthetic gas harnessing regional innovation lead by Plasco Energy Group.

Richard Patten has equally played a leading role in the promotion and awareness of integrative preventive medicine and innovation within Canada and several other countries including Mexico supporting, among others, the inception of BioConverGene Technologies Corporation™.
