Executive Summary
Mary Stier-Meyer is a successful and vibrant entrepreneur and medical assistant professional. Graduated from Lakeshore Technical College, Cleveland, Wisconsin, her professional background has been primarily in the health care field, assisting medical practitioners in several states as an AAMA Certified Medical Assistant in the USA.
Mary has been involved in various medical specialties encompassing Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and Family Practice.
In recent years, she partnered with her husband as co-founder of Orient Point Consulting, LLC, a management consulting company whose primary clientele has most often been large banks and insurance companies. Orient Point Consulting has provided management information models about clients' customers, products, processes and resources.
Mary is a Northeastern Wisconsin native who was born and raised in a small community surrounded by farmlands, lakes, rivers and forests. Her interest in nature and the importance of the care of our environment comes naturally as a result.
Mary is a self-described "vagabond" as she has explored and travelled by car throughout most of the United States, as well as areas of Canada and Mexico, crediting her parents for initiating that journey which began in her childhood.
As a 13 year old, her parents arranged for her to live with a family in Mexico City, which she firmly believes was a life-changing experience because it was a first step in opening the world and its diversity to her. In the years since, Mary's interest and commitment to nature, the world and the environment has grown as she has continued to travel and to reside in several states, including several years in Florida.
While in Florida, she learned to develop habitats to protect monarch butterflies in her own back yard in a humble attempt to assist in protecting this endangered species. She has continued to share her experience, hoping more will realise this small personal effort can translate into positive results for the protection of the monarch butterfly amongst several other endangered plant and animal species.
Mary and her husband currently reside in the high desert of New Mexico where she is an aspiring artist and where they both enjoy preserving, exploring and learning about yet another diverse area of the country.
